WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Wausau police are searching for a 79-year-old man with early-onset dementia who was last seen walking near Aspirus Wausau Hospital late Sunday night.
Steven Kolubako was last captured on hospital security cameras in the area of North 32nd Avenue and Madonna Drive at about 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, according to the Wausau Police Department. He was discharged from the hospital around 10 p.m. that night after being seen there earlier in the evening.
Kolubako’s roommates last saw him at about 2 p.m. that day. Police say he has early-onset dementia and other medical concerns.
He is described as a white man standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. Kolubako has blue eyes, long blonde hair and a white beard. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a black T-shirt, a long-sleeve dark gray shirt and a red lanyard.
