MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers came from behind in the 8th inning, and held on for a 4-3 win over the Cubs on Labor Day.
Jckson Churio singled in two runs to give the Brewers the lead, and then made a sliding catch for the game’s final out. In between rookie outfielder Luis Lara made a running catch against the wall in the 9th inning. It was a key play, as the next batter Pete Crow-Armstrong homered.
Abner Uribe worked a scoreless 8th and got the win.
Jacob Misiorowski 14-5) pitches for Milwaukee on Tuesday night at 6:05pm on WSAU.
