James Radford
SHAWANO, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Milwaukee man accused of killing his wife in Shawano County almost 10 years ago will officially go on trial this year.
James Radford, 40, pleaded not guilty Friday to first-degree reckless homicide by use of a dangerous weapon in the death of Sabrina Radford, according to WAOW TV. He reported her death on Apr. 11, 2016, saying she had shot herself.
Investigators say evidence collected at the scene and analyzed over the last decade shows that isn’t the case. That includes evidence on the gun and digital evidence on her phone.
No trial date has been set, but a status conference is set for August 5th.
Radford is being held on an $800,000 cash bond. If found guilty, he faces up to 60 years in the state prison system.
