Isaac Vazquez
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A former Stevens Point Area High School track coach has been arrested and charged with several counts related to a child sex case.
According to court records, on July 14, Isaac Vazquez was charged with one charge of child enticement, one charge of grooming of a child for sexual activity, and one count of sexual intercourse with a child 16 or older.
The 35-year-old appeared in court on Tuesday, where his bond was set at $100,000 cash. Court records show that it was posted on Wednesday.
Conditions of his bond include no contact with the victim or any unrelated minor children. He has also surrendered his passport.
His next court appearance is scheduled for August 17.
A representative from SPASH confirmed that Vazquez no longer works for the school district, and his name no longer appears on their website.
