ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — A traffic stop turned into a meth bust in Antigo last week.
According to a Facebook post, officers conducted a traffic stop on June 30th for a routine moving violation. K9 Riggs was called in for an open-air sniff around the vehicle and alerted officers to the presence of drugs.
A search of the vehicle turned up nearly 250 grams of methamphetamine, along with some fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Much of the meth was contained in a vacuum-sealed bag.
Two unidentified men were arrested. The post did not specify what charges they may be facing.
Sheriff’s Officers from Langlade and Oneida Counties assisted in the investigation.
