Milwaukee Bucks
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks have opted to part ways with a former second-round pick.
According to The Athletic’s Eric Nehm, the Bucks have declined Andre Jackson Jr.’s fifth-year $2.4 million option for next season, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Jackson Jr., 24, was taken 36th overall by Milwaukee in the 2023 NBA lottery out of UConn, but has struggled to find consistent playing time despite starting 43 games for previous head coach Doc Rivers last season.
In three seasons with the Bucks, Jackson Jr. averaged only 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
