LAS VEGAS, NV (WSAU) – The Brewers couldn’t hold a 3-0 lead in a Wednesday night loss to the A’s in Las Vegas.
Carlos Cortes and Lawrence Butler hit home runs in the 7tg inning to lead a 4-3 victory.
The A’s took 2-of-3 games in the series.
The Brewers didn’t score in the final 5-innings.
Milwaukee still leads St. Louis by 3 1/2 games in the NL Central.
Milwaukee is off today, and returns home to play the Phillies on Friday night. Jacob Misiorowski is scheduled to pitch.
