TOWN OF LAONA, WI (WSAU) — Unidentified human remains have been found in the Forest County Town of Laona.
Investigators found the remains at a home on East Silver Lake Road. No further information is being released at this time, though officers say there is no danger to the public.
The Forest County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation along with the Wisconsin State Crime Lab and the Department of Justice. The Oneida County Medical Examiner is also looking into the case.
