Jason Tourtillott
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — A plea and sentencing hearing for a Wood County homicide suspect has been delayed.
Jason Tourtillott was scheduled to enter a plea for one count of first-degree intentional homicide this afternoon. Court records show that the date has been delayed to July 2nd. No reason for the delay was given.
The 28-year-old is accused of killing his father, Thomas Tourtillott, in July 2021.

Investigators immediately named Jason Tourtillott as a suspect, but he wasn’t taken into custody until January 2025. He faces a mandatory life sentence on the count, with only the possibility of parole after 20 years to be considered by the judge.
