WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau Events has announced the complete lineup for the 2026 Wings Over Wausau Airshow, June 26th and 27th.
Daytime shows will feature the US Navy West Coast Rino Team flying FA-18 E and F Super Hornets, the Vanguard Squadron demonstrating four-ship formation acrobatics, and biplane aerobatics by Skip Stewart.
The evening show will feature lighted acrobatics by four groups, including the Vanguard Squadron.
This year’s event will feature free admission for children 10 and under. Organizers have also arranged for parking inside the airshow grounds to help ease congestion in the neighborhood around the downtown airport.
MetroRide shuttles will be available from downtown Wausau with stops at local hotels.
“The tremendous support we receive from our community partners and sponsors reminds us of how grateful we are to host this event for such a wonderful community. Our partners’ generosity allows us to continue hosting this event and bringing nationally recognized airshow acts to Wausau,” said Executive Director Brooklyn Hess. “Wings Over Wausau has become more than just an airshow — it’s a community celebration that brings people together to create memories with family and friends, experience the excitement of aviation, and enjoy everything that makes summer in Wausau so special.”
Full event lineups and more information are available on the Wausau Events website.
