WAUPACA, WI (WSAU) — A Kronenwetter man suspected of trying to meet an underage girl for sex has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Dylan Reynolds is accused of traveling to Waupaca to meet with an undercover officer, who had been posing as a 15-year-old girl on a social media messenger app.
The 25-year-old allegedly arranged to meet the girl for sex, but was arrested at the arranged meeting place instead.
He now faces one count of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, punishable by up to 40 years in prison. During Monday’s hearing, a judge also lowered his bond from $5,000 cash to $2,500, which has not been posted as of Tuesday morning.
Further court action is scheduled for June 3rd. A trial date has not been set.
