WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – The Brewers came up a run short in their bid to sweep the Washington Nationals. The Nats managed a 3-2 win on Sunday.

The Brewers got within 1-run in the 9th when outfielder James Wood lost a pop fly in the sun. Then Richard Lovelady got the final two outs in relief.
