MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Police in Merrill are investigating a Friday night stabbing.
Officers were called to a residential area to find the victim collapsed at a nearby establishment. They’ve determined that the unidentified individual was stabbed at a home, then walked to the bar for help.
The victim is in “stable but serious” condition, according to police.
WAOW TV reports that the suspect has been identified as 43-year-old Julie White, who is jailed on a $10,000 cash bond or a $40,000 signature bond. Charges against her could include reckless injury and battery.
She is due back in court on Wednesday. The victim has yet to be identified.
