PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) – The Brewers got their 99th win of the season, 4-1, over the Phillies on Wednesday night. They have four games remaining in the regular season.
The Brewers are now 2-games ahead of the Dodgers for the best record in baseball. The Dodgers lost to the Padres, 5-1.
Christian Yelich and Brice Turang each had solo home runs. William Contreras is on an 11-game hitting streak thanks to an RBI single.
The Phillies were 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position.
The Brewers and Phillies conclude their series Thursday at 4:30pm CT. Because of Packers football, the game will be heard on 93-9 FM THE GAME.
