CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) – The Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers split their 4-game series at Wrigley Field. The Cubs were 2-1 winners on Thursday night.
The Brewers still lead the NL Central by 8 games — the same as when they arrived in Chicago on Monday.
Kevin Gausman threw 7 innings and got the win. Logan Henderson, now 9-3, allowed 2 runs and struck out 7 in defeat.
The Brewers only run came on a long home run over the left field bleachers by Andrew Vaughn in the 4th.
The Brewers are off to Cincinnati to play the Reds for a weekend series. Shane Drohan is scheduled to pitch on Friday at 4:35pm CT on WSAU.
