STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspects arrested in connection with the death of a 57-year-old woman in the Town of Carson.
According to an updated press release, the suspects are 60-year-old Lyndon B. Hood and 46-year-old Sara M. Pientka. They are expected to appear in court on Thursday for bond hearings. Both are facing first-degree intentional homicide.
The victim was identified as Jeanette Pientka, who was found dead on Tuesday at a home on County Road M. Officers were called to the address for a report of someone with severe, traumatic injuries. She died at the scene.
No further information has been released, including what led officers to arrest Hood and Sara Pientka.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Portage County Sheriff’s Office, as the case remains under investigation.
