MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Brewers’ bats ruined Freddy Peralta’s return to Milwaukee.
Cooper Pratt hit his first major league homer and went 3-for-4 in a Brewers 8-3 win over the Mets. The Brewers improved to 63-37 this season, now with the best record in Major League Baseball.
Joey Ortiz added a 3-run home run, and Andrew Vaughn added a 2-run shot.
Jacob Misiorowski was used sparingly, only pitching four innings. He struck out six and allowed one earned run, throwing 65 pitches. It was his first appearance since July 7.
Brandon Sproat (3-4, 5.18 ERA), a former Met, will pitch against his old team on Tuesday. Game coverage begins at 6:05 PM on WSAU.
