MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Marshfield High School was placed on a brief lockdown after a bus driver reported that a student may have brought a gun to school.
Officers responded to the school and isolated the bus. They searched the vehicle but didn’t find a weapon.
All students on the bus were also searched out of an abundance of caution, but no weapons were found.
The lockdown has since been lifted, and normal activities have resumed.
