ENTERPRISE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 70-year-old man died Saturday when his UTV struck a tree in the Town of Enterprise.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 5:28 p.m. on May 2. The crash happened about a half mile south of trail intersection 266 off of Bowman Road.
Deputies identified the operator as David R. McMillen of Salem, Wisconsin. McMillen was operating a 2024 Polaris UTV when it struck a tree, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, 57-year-old Ronald D. Miller of Bristol, Wisconsin, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is completing the accident report. The Crescent Fire Department, Fire District Alpha, Oneida County Medical Examiner and Oneida County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
