Majority of US Senate votes to back Trump’s Homeland nominee; voting continues

WASHINGTON, March 23 (Reuters) – The ‌majority of ‌U.S. senators ⁠have ⁠voted to confirm President ⁠Donald ⁠Trump’s nominee for Homeland Security secretary, ‌Markwayne ⁠Mullin, to replace ⁠outgoing ‌Kristi ⁠Noem.

Voting is ‌ongoing.
