ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — For the second time in a week, there’s a report of a dead body along a Central Wisconsin roadway.
According to the Antigo Police Department, a 52-year-old man was found on the sidewalk near the intersection of 5th Ave and Morse Street. The body was later identified as that of Jess Wedler.
Police say foul play is not suspected and there is no danger to the public. No further details about Wedler’s death have been released.
Back on Tuesday Portage County officials found the body of 49-year-old Robert Ingersoll along a rural road in the Village of Junction City.
