LIND TOWNSHIP, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – One person is dead after a crash last Friday in Waupaca County.
The sheriff’s office says it happened at Southwood Drive and County Highway E in the Township of Lind, around 8:45pm.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Southwood Drive when it struck a tree. They say Both the driver and passenger were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated. They were both then transported to ThedaCare Neenah due to their injuries. The driver died from their injuries on Tuesday, October 28.
The crash remains under investigation.
