EUGENE, OR (WSAU) The Badgers football team was dominated by Oregon’s defense in a 21-7 loss.
The Badgers avoided being shut out for a third week, scoring midway in the fourth quarter. They’ve lost five-in-a-row.
Wisconsin was playing without some of its top players. Running backs Dilin Jones and Darrion Dupree. The Badgers’ leading tackler, linebacker Christian Alliegro, was also out as were the team’s top two centers, Jake Renfro and Kerry Kodanko and punt returner Tyrell Henry and safety safety Preston Zachman.
Oregon quarterback Jordon Davison ran for two touchdowns, as Oregon, ranked 6th in the nation, improved to 7-1. They play Iowa next week.
The Badgers have a bye this coming weekend before hosting Washington on November 8th.
