MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-1 on Monday night at American Family Field. It was their 10th win in a row and moves them 30 games over .500.
Brice Turang led off the game with a home run for Milwaukee. Christian Yelich also hit a solo shot, his 22th home run of the season. The other Brewer RBIs went to Andrew Vaughn ( a squeeze bunt), Sal Frelick and Brandon Lockridge.
Jose Quintana picked up his 10th win giving up one run on three hits over six innings with one walk and three Ks. Grant Anderson and Shelby Miller delivered three innings of scoreless relief.
The Brewers, now 74-44, will host Pittsburgh again tonight…pre game show at 6:05 on WSAU.
