WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – On June 16 and 17, the Wausau airport will play host to the second annual Wings Over Wausau event.
The occasion will include a petting zoo, kid-friendly games and activities, a professional airshow, the biggest fireworks display in the region, and more.
The Wausau Wing Competition will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the “Run the Runway 5k” will begin at 8 a.m.
On Friday, the fun runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturday, it continues from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Children under the age of 12 can attend for free.
