WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A fire at Bantr Apartments which houses the rooftop restaurant off of 17th Avenue was deemed under control on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Wausau Fire Chief, the fire broke out in a room on the third floor, but the sprinkler system put it out. Water damage occurred, although largely in the room where the fire occurred.
Wausau Fire Department responded with multiple units to the newly constructed apartment complex.
No one was injured during the incident.
