GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Arron Rodgers darkness retreat has ended.
ESPN reports that Rodgers has left a special resort in Oregon. The Packers and the rest of the football world now await an announcement about Rodgers’ football career. He’d said earlier that he’d make a decision about whether he’ll return to the Packers, ask to be traded, or retire.
Scott Berman, owner of Sky Cave Retreats says the four day darkness retreat ended on Wednesday.
Rodgers spent his time there is a 300-square-foot room in total darkness. The room had a bath tub, a queen size bed, and a mat for meditation.
ESPN’s Jeff Darlington says a ‘very important source’ within the Packers organization says they now expect Rodgers to return to Green Bay next season. That contradicts earlier reporting from beat writer Bob McGinn, who said the Packers are ready to move on from Rodgers.
If the Packers are looking to trade Rodgers, the New York Jets and the Las Vegas Raiders have expressed interest.
