MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — Rowdy Tellez hit two three-run homers as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 10-4 on Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field.
Tellez hit his shots in the first and fourth innings finishing with six RBIs and tying him with Willy Adames at 20 homers for the season. Luis Urias also homered, his 12th of the year.
Christian Yelich had a hit and three walks with two runs scored and an RBI. Adames also drove in a run.
Corbin Burnes picked up his 8th win of the year going six innings giving up three runs on five hits with 11 Ks and no walks. He retired 14 of the final 15 batters he faced including 13 in a row.
The Brewers have the day off before beginning a three game series at Fenway Park vs Boston.
