PITTSBURGH, Pa (WSAU) — The offense was the story on Friday night as the Milwaukee Brewers rolled over the Pittsburgh Pirates 19-2 at PNC Park.
Milwaukee scored seven runs in the second inning and eight runs in the eighth as they cruised to their 45th win of the season.
Rowdy Tellez and Willy Adames both hit their 16th home runs of the season. Tellez had five RBIs and Adames had four. Victor Caratini, Luis Urias and Keston Hiura also went deep.
Corbin Burnes picked up his 7th win of the season. He took a no-hitter into the 6th inning allowing only one run in his outing.
Milwaukee remains in first place in the Central Division and will play the Pirates again this afternoon…pre game show at 2:30 on WSAU.
