WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Angelo’s Pizza will close their doors after 50 years in business.
They announced the move Tuesday night in a Facebook post. “We have given this a lot of thought and made this difficult decision based on age, health and family… We want to thank Wausau and the surrounding areas for their loyalty and support for so many years.”
Angelo’s will now transition to selling their frozen pizzas, saying they’ll be available in “your favorite stores, and local bars.” They’ll also be available for pick up at their Wausau location.
Current gift certificates can still be used, but only at their restaurant location.
The last day for current restaurant service will be Sunday, June 5.
