GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — One of the better defensive players on the Green Bay Packers has tested positive for COVID-19.
Inside linebacker De’Vondre Campbell was placed on the reserve-COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Since the Packers were on their bye week and only unvaccinated players had to be tested this week, it would seem that Campbell is unvaccinated and tested positive.
Unvaccinated players must test everyday and are not allowed to leave town during the bye week. Campbell has to quarantine for a minimum of 10 days and show no symptoms to be allowed back.
It’s possible he would be eligible to return the Friday before the game against the Bears.
Campbell is an important part of the defense. He sets the defense and has played multiple positions this season. He leads the Packers with 99 tackles
