Dylan Reynolds
WAUPACA, WI (WSAU) — A Kronenwetter man suspected of trying to meet an underage girl for sex has changed his plea.
Dylan Reynolds pleaded not guilty due to mental disease or defect to one count of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime during a court appearance earlier this month. A judge then ordered psychological examinations at the Waupaca County Jail.
The charge stems from an arranged meet-up in Waupaca between Reynolds and an undercover officer, who had been posing as a teenage girl on social media. Believing he would meet the teen, Reynolds was instead taken into custody upon arrival.
Reynolds is being held on a $2,500 cash bond. The charge carries a maximum of 25 years in prison plus extended supervision.
The case was scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing today. Court records now indicate a status conference is set for December 18.
