ST PETERSBURG, FL (WSAU) The Tampa Bay Rays rallied in the 12th inning for a 4-3 win to keep their season alive.
The Brewers took a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the 12th after Cooper Pratt’s solo home run. Pratt was 4-for-5 in the game. But the Rays scored twice in the bottom half of the inning. Jonny DeLuca tie the game with an RBI sinle. Pinch hitter Ben Williamson won it, singling in the final run.
“We’ve got a lot of fight in us. We’re never going to shy away,” Chandler Simpson said. “We were going to keep fighting until the end – the last inning, the last out, the last play, the last pitch. We were going to keep fighting. That’s what we did tonight.”
Game 5 is Wednesday night at 7pm CT. Game coverage begins at 6:30 on WSAU. The Brewers are scheduled to start Cy Yong award favorite Jacob Misiorowski. The Rays haven’t named a starting pitcher.
