KRONENWETTER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Firefighters responded to the Weston Power Plant Friday night.
WAOW TV reports that multiple crews responded to the east side of the building for a small blaze at the facility.
Responding crews included the Kronenwetter Fire Department, Mosinee Fire Department, and Riverside Fire Department.
An official from the Kronewetter Fire Department said the scene was active as of 10:00 PM Friday and that the incident was contained.
The Weston Power Plant is operated by Wisconsin Public Service.
