James Johnson
EAGLE RIVER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A St. Germain man charged with stabbing his sister to death has changed his plea.
James Johnson, 57, is now pleading not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
Johnson is accused in the stabbing death of Kelly Johnson, 61, who was found dead March 21st in the Town of Cloverland.
A Vilas County judge ordered an evaluation, and the case will be on hold while that takes place, and a status conference is scheduled for January.
Johnson is being held on a $1-million-dollar cash bond.
