MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — For the second night in a row an LA Dodger pitcher shut down the Milwaukee Brewers offense and took a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. The final was 5-1 as the Brewers were held to just three hits.
One of those hits was a Jackson Chourio solo home run in the first inning. But after that LA starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto wasa nearly perfect. He pitched a complete game giving up the three hits with seven Ks and one walk.
Teoscar Hernandez and Max Muncy had homers for LA.
Freddy Peralta started and gave up three runs on five hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four with one walk
The series now heads to LA for game 3 which will happen on Thursday afternoon…pre-game show at 4:30 on WSAU.
