(247NEWSSOURCE) GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers fended off the Cincinnati Bengals in a 27-18 victory at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Suday.
The Bengals had cut Green Bay’s lead to six points with under five minutes remaining before Lucas Havrisik kicked a 39-yard field goal to seal the win.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur reflected on the win and holding off the Bengals.
Jordan Love completed 19-of-26 passes for 259 yards, one touchdown and an interception.
Wide receiver Matthew Golden had 3 catches for a team-high 86 yards.
Love talked about Golden’s growth as a weapon.
Josh Jacobs rushed for 93 yards and two TDs.
Jacobs said that he woke up with the flu bug but put together a good performance.
The Packers are first in the NFC North at 3-1-and-1.
With the win under their belt, LaFleur talked about whether or not the team is where they want them to be.
Joe Flacco passed for 219 yards and two touchdowns in his Cincinnati debut.
Ja’Marr Chase racked up 10 catches for 94 yards and a TD. The Bengals are 2-and-4.
