DALLAS, TX (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys played to a 40-40 overtime tie on Sunday Night Football in Dallas.
The Packers and taken a 34-30 lead with 1:45 left in regulation on a Jordan Love to Romeo Doubs TD. It was Doubs’ third TD catch of the game. The Cowboys responded with a 28 yard Td pass from Dak Prescott to George Pickens with 43 seconds left to take a 37-34 lead. The Packers then came back with a Brandon McManus 53 yard field goal as time expired to send the game to OT.
The Cowboys scored first with a 22 yard Brandon Aubrey FG midway through the OT. McManus hit a 34 yarder as time expired for the tie.
Love threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Jacobs had 86 yards on 22 carries with two TDs.
Prescott threw for 319 yards and three TDs, one to former Wisconsin star Jake Ferguson. The Cowboys also scored two points on a blocked extra point that was returned.
It was the second straight week that Green Bay could not hold a double digit lead. They fall to 2-1-1 entering their bye week. They host the Cincinnati Bengals on October 12th.
