Fatal Fire
TOWN OF EASTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A house fire in Easton has claimed the life of one and left another in critical condition, according to a release by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The house located on Edgewood Avenue in the town of Easton went up in flames around 1:40 Thursday morning. One person escaped but was critically injured and airlifted to UW Health University Hospital in Madison.
Firefighters found another person dead inside the home.
The cause is now under investigation, the home is considered a total loss.
The names of the victims have not been released.
