GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers hosted their annual Family Night on Saturday night and the new franchise quarterback certainly had some moments that excited the 65,000 fans in attendance.
Love only needed four plays (and three completions) in the final two minutes of a drill to travel 75 yards and score the touchdown. The drive started with a completion to rookie tight end Luke Musgrave over the middle for 30 yards and then was followed by a 21-yard completion to Christian Watson. To finish off the drive, Love threw a dime down the right sideline to Christian Watson who made a great catch over Corey Ballentine.

Jordan Love has reportedly been making these kinds of throws day after day.
He has reportedly shown a strong grasp of LaFleur’s offense.

Rookie kicker Anders Carlson also had an impressive showing after struggling during training camp. Carlson went for 8-9 on the night which included three straight makes from 50+ yards.
Other notable standouts were rookie defensive linemen Karl Brooks and Colby Wooden who got to Jordan Love several times throughout the night and were also in position for several tackles for loss. Second-year linebacker/safety Tariq Carpenter also impressed with two key 2 INTs.
