MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Badgers nearly blew a 12-point lead in the second half before topping Michigan, 64-59.
Connor Essegian had a career high 23 points in the win. He was 6-of-12 from the floor, and scored 13 in the second half.
Steve Crowl had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Max Klesmit had 10.
Chucky Hepburn, who was only 1-of-9 shooting, managed a key steal late in the game to secure the win.
The Badgers are now 7-8 in Big Ten play, and 10-15 overall.
