MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WSAU) — Things might have become a bit easier for the Green Bay Packers in their Sunday night matchup with the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.
It was announced on Friday that Viking quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is unvaccinated, tested positive for COVID-19. He will miss the game on Sunday.
Cousins was tested daily because of his vaccination status and was experiencing symptoms on Friday when the test came back positive.
Sean Mannion, a seven-year backup in the NFL, will get the start. He has two career starts in the league, one in 2017 and one in 2019.
You can hear the game on WSAU, pregame on Sunday at 5 MN.
